May’s Summer Vacation

About this game

May arrives in a rural community with her family, expecting an uneventful break far from the bustle of everyday life. Instead, her holiday quickly fills with uncomfortable situations, curious discoveries, and memorable meetings with the people living nearby. Created by 7767 (Otchakun), May’s Summer Vacation is a 2dcg visual novel that transforms a seemingly tranquil countryside visit into a lively, character-focused story. Rather than keeping May on a fixed narrative track, the game gives players freedom to explore the town and its surrounding landscape. You can visit different locations at your own pace, speak with local residents, strengthen relationships, and learn what lies behind the community’s ordinary appearance. Each interaction adds another wrinkle to May’s increasingly complicated summer, while her responses help shape the playful tone of the experience. The combination of illustrated events, social encounters, and free-roaming exploration makes the game suitable for visual novel fans who prefer some control over where the protagonist goes next. Version 0.06.1b is available for Windows and includes English text, with French, Portuguese, and Spanish translations also supported. Follow May through an eventful countryside vacation and uncover everything this deceptively peaceful town has waiting for her.
