Once the heir to a respected noble house, Arielle Valemont arrives at the Aurelius Academy of Magic with one goal: recover the wealth and status her family has lost. Her admission was arranged by Arch Mage Malrick Corvane, an old family associate who acts like a generous guardian. Yet his assistance carries personal conditions that reach far beyond tuition and academic success. Arielle is expected to follow Malrick’s counsel, attend private weekly meetings, and grow closer to his son, Sevrin, who had already taken an interest in her before she entered the academy. While she navigates these relationships, she must also earn enough money to cover her needs. Runehaven, the neighboring town, offers various jobs, though the positions available to her may change as her reputation and behavior evolve. Morrak Games structures this adult fantasy RPG around a repeating daily routine. Classes rotate through five branches of magic, work occupies part of Arielle’s schedule, and evenings allow greater freedom over where she goes and how she spends her time. Her corruption level is displayed openly and directly influences progression, including wardrobe choices, employment options, social reactions, and access to additional situations.
